OUR NEWEST LIGHTING DESIGN – CONTEST TO NAME THE LIGHT
New Innovative LED lighting design – with the IDS Vancouver 2016 design show quickly approaching, Karice has been so busy preparing. We will be featuring six brand new lighting designs at the show. Our TIME light can be seen in Dinner by Design, SHROOM in the Central Bar, and the remaining four lights can be seen in booth #911 – IDS Vancouver 2016.
CONTEST TO NAME THE LIGHT – Karice’s newest addition to our lighting collection is looking for a name. We are asking the design community to help us “Name the LIGHT”.
We have been so busy preparing for the IDS Vancouver 2016 Design show and we have run out of time. This light is so new, it doesn’t even have a name yet. We are asking the design community to participate in a competition to “NAME THE LIGHT”. The winner will win a triple pendant version of our new light (value $1,100.00). Winner to be announced in October.
This light was designed by Karice’s lead designer, Maurice L. Dery. The light is made from CNC machined aluminum components and acrylic. The light diffuser is frosted clear acrylic to obscure the single LED bulb that is used in this fixture.
The aluminum parts are anodized to offer a rich looking refined finish. The illumination is energy efficient LED technology. The long lasting bulb is 2700K and delivers 100 lumens.
Suspended by a single co-axial cable, the light appears to be floating in mid air, eliminating the need for heavy wire. Low voltage lighting affords us this ability wire our lights in this manner. Our triple pendant will have a 6″ diameter canopy to suspend the three lights in an array.
